Microsoft innovation center in Armenia

On December 28, a memorandum on opening of the “Microsoft innovation center” was signed in State Engineering University of Armenia.

The co-signers of the memorandum were the RA Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan, the head of SEUA V. Marukhyan, the director of Armenian office of Microsoft G. Barseghyan and the director of Enterprise Incubator Foundation B. Yengibaryan.

The establishment of “Microsoft innovation center” in Armenia is a result of collaboration between the Government of RA, International Development Agency of USA, Enterprise Incubator Foundation and Armenian office of Microsoft.

Microsoft innovation centers are spread worldwide. These centers provide multisided programs and services for the development of professional skills, creation of new work places, giving incubation opportunities for starting companies and empowering the innovation sphere.
The purpose of the center is to form the effective innovation system.
