On June 10, the Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan accepted the delegation from China headed by Men Veydun, the Chief of the office on trade and economic cooperation with Russia of the province Tsilin.

The main purpose of the Chinese visitors was the delivery of the official invitation for Armenian delegation to take part at the Fourth Trade-Investment Fair of the Northeast Asian countries.

The Fair will take place in the International Exhibition Centre in the city of Chanchun (province Tsilin) on September 2-6, 2008. The slogan of the Fair is "communication, opportunities, cooperation, development". The main goal of the Fair is broadening and strengthening of trade, economic and territorial cooperation between China and the countries of Northeast Asia, and the establishment of strong bases for the long-term, mutually advantageous and competitive cooperation also.

The delegation from the countries of the Northeast Asia: Japan, Mongolia, North and South Korea, Russia, headed by Prime- ministers, Ministers and officials will take part at the Fair, as well as the representatives from invited countries: USA, Great Britain, Germany, France and other countries.

At the meeting the Chinese guests informed, that on July 10, the Chinese delegation led by the governor of the province Tsilin, will visit Armenia and the representatives from 7-8 large Chinese companies will be included in the delegation. They emphasized, that during the visit, at an opportunity, they would wish to organize a meeting and talks with the Minister Nerses Yeritsyan and representatives of the Ministry.

Mr. Minister thanked for the visit and invitation, underlining, that it is pleasant for Armenia to be among officially invited countries.
