As part of his visit to Japan on November 13, Minister Vahan Kerobyan convened a meeting at the central office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) with JETRO President and CEO, Norihiko Ishiguro. The gathering also included the presence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Japan, Areg Hovhannisyan, and the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Narek Teryan.

The meeting delved into specific practical issues aimed at fostering economic relations between Armenia and Japan, with a focus on expanding trade volumes. Minister Vahan Kerobyan delivered a comprehensive presentation on the investment attractiveness of Armenia, highlighting the business-friendly environment and legislative framework. Emphasizing the significance of raising awareness among Japanese businessmen about these opportunities, he underscored the mutual benefits that could result from strengthened cooperation.

Discussions spanned a range of topics related to Armenian-Japanese trade and economic relations, culminating in an agreement to persist in the implementation of the agreements reached, thereby fortifying the ongoing collaboration between the two nations.
