Number of EOIs/Proposals received: The number of firms who have submitted expressions of interest was 5, 5 of them have been shortlisted, and 2 have submitted the Technical and Financial Proposals.

Contract Price: 85,243,412.00 Armenian Drams (Eighty-Five million Two hundred Forty-Three thousand Four hundred and Twelve AMD) excluding local taxes.

Duration: 20 months.

Scope of contract:

• Reaching out to farmers, community, WUAs;
• Facilitate and support PIT of the MOE and communities in selecting of farmers;
• Consult with households, provide technical guidance and identify required agricultural inputs for them;
• Develop training modules on the identified topics;
• Develop/print and deliver training materials, video instructions to beneficiaries;
• Develop video materials to share through an online platform;
• Conduct training and ongoing consultations for smallholding farmers on effective agricultural techniques;
• Advise and support to establish high-value gardens (crops/berries/vegetables, fruits)  in beneficiaries’ backyard farms;
• Coach selected households; 
• Support in the installation of drip irrigation systems in backyard gardens; support in establishing orchards;
• Train beneficiaries on how to operate and maintain the installed equipment and systems; and
• Support in organizing and mobilizing farmer field days (FFD) to bring stakeholders including farmers from the target and nearby area as well as nearby areas, representatives of state and municipal agencies.
